Firstly I would like to point out that this film in no way a horror film, so if someone wants to death scare, it is not a suitable position for him. It is a thriller that until the very end gripping. The film tells the story of a lovely couple living a bit off the beaten track, whose life was spoiling unfortunately not. After losing a child due to miscarriage, Kate and John want to adopt a 9-year-old Esther from a nearby orphanage (played świetnaIsabelle Fuhrman). It is quite peculiar for his age, but convinces Kate and John its unique charm and great talent in painting. The only thing surprising that old-fashioned band on her neck and arms girl whose Esther does not allow even touch. The very beginning of the film makes it immediately we are dents in the seat, although a bit of grotesque give you a pretty strange face the audience. After the initial stage, the atmosphere calms down and we see how Esther settles at the State Colemanów which meets with the approval of their daughter Max and obvious disappointment on the part of their son Daniel (played by my favorite young aktorJimmy Bennett, among others, the embattled playing). Esther, however, begins to cause behavioral problems ... The film is gaining momentum with every minute and up to the very end gripping. An additional advantage is here Esther behavior that can really surprise (including the share of Russian roulette). The creators of orphans, of course, not preserved themselves from the errors that sometimes are quite blatant, but the atmosphere in the film very quickly helps to forget them and It makes it to the end of their work watching with bated breath. If you like to watch movies, you do not even notice these minor mistakes that are nothing in comparison with the voltage holding to the end by the throat and numerous surprises in the behavior of Esther. I would recommend it to anyone who likes fast-paced action and which do not interfere with hackneyed motifs and little real motivation of the characters. Orphan works as good entertainment.
