Students from the Mining-Technical University of Ostrava undertake work experience in a commercial environment

The possibility of cooperating on a project with experienced commercial companies was taken up with considerable interest at a selected academic workplace - the Department of Regional Economic and Environmental Economics faculty at the Mining - Technical University of Ostrava. Practically all departmental employees, including scientific employees, doctoral students and selected students, signed up to the project.

The identified theme was: Drafting a baseline analysis to determining priority areas for EU structural assistance for 2014-2020 for the development of the Moravian-Silesian region. This topic during the course of research was modified to: The focus EU structural assistance for further modernisation of NUTS II Moravia-Silesia in the coming period 2014 - 2020 period. Further improving the quality of life and education of people in the Moravia-Silesia region after coping with difficult restructuring.
